About Joel

My name is Joel. I have worked in education for 20 years - from teaching grades 6 to 12, advising, and mentoring students. I am a person driven by care and seek to enhance the lives I come across and bring to them as much joy as possible. I'd describe my personality as personable, kind, and demonstrates personal interests. I'm looking for a job that provides the ability to provide quality care for people at a time they need it most. I started caring for seniors when my mother was diagnosed with cancer, and I was her full-time caregiver. Later, I would help my sister and friends. I was working as a professor and caring for aging relatives, which brought joy to my heart. My skills include providing comfort, listening to stories, sharing stories, reading to them their favorite books, or passages from holy books.
