About Joel

Hello! My name is Joel, my beautiful wife and I moved to Washington from Montana a little over three years ago. I was born and raised in Montana. I have my bachelors degree in K-8 education with a masters degree in technology. I also have my teaching license in Montana and Washington State. While in Billings, I taught 9 years at the elementary and middle school level. I was also very fortunate to coach many sports (basketball, baseball, football, and track) at the middle school and high school level. My first year in Washington was the crazy covid year. I was blessed to find a group of five students in Anacortes that I was able to homeschool and help with their online learning process. The last couple of years, I have been working for an incredible family homeschooling their two wonderful children. I have three dogs (my children) and I'm a huge animal lover.
