I facilitated a class of about 20 incoming freshman at my university on the subject of math. This includes giving a description of what materials would be covered, group activities to aid in the learning process, one-on-one help with any individuals needing assistance, after-hours help for struggling students, assignments to take home, and tips and strategies to take on problems. I used multiple methods of learning and frequently test the students to insure that they are grasping the material being taught. I love tutoring math to others who need help or just want to learn. It is rewarding to see when the student is able to fully understand and do the math correctly, and the moment it clicks.
