Hello! My name is Joel, and I'm currently living in Georgia but I'll be moving to flagstaff Arizona in September. I'm passionate about music, people, and the outdoors! I have a huge heart for children with special needs and mental health struggles. My desire is to engage and encourage as many kiddos as I can, and help them live a full and happy life, regardless of their limitations. From summer jobs to volunteer church work to helping raise my 3 sisters who each had individual special needs. I have roughly 8 years of experience volunteering in children's ministry as a leader for children ranging in age from 5-18. However, the majority of that time was spent teaching a worship band of middle schoolers. I have also worked in applied behavior analysis as a certified registered behavior technician over the last year, starting in July of 2022. As an RBT, I primarily worked with kiddos who lived higher on the spectrum (ages 2-10) and had a more difficult time regulating their emotions.
