Hello, my name is Jody. I have been passionately caring for and teaching the young child for over 25 years. I hold a Montessori Teaching Certificate, specifically for the 2-6-year-old child, am currently pursuing my Montessori Infant/Toddler Certification for the 0-2-year-old child, and have experience and practice with the infant through older child as well. I am the mother of three grown children, of whom I home-schooled until High School. I had been teaching in the Montessori Classroom up until 8 years ago, when I began as a Nanny. This position has been pure joy for me, as I am able to teach and train the children while supporting the family as a whole. Some of my strengths are that I posses a calm, consistent, loving nature; I respect the parents in their wishes; I have extreme patience and joy in supporting children to grow and learn in confidence.

Jodi is an incredible nanny, I cannot recommend her enough! You will not find a better caregiver. She started working with our family when our son was 6mo and now watches him (7yo) and our daughter (5yo). Jodi has extensive education & training in early childhood education, Montessori, homeschooling, and she has a huge heart for children, caring deeply about ensuring a safe and nurturing environment. She introduces activities to support development. She taught my kids to read and furthered their math and science skills through creative play activities. She includes art, in/outdoor play, and other activities for them to learn & grow in a fun and engaging environment. I'm always assured that my children are safe and loved when they are in Jodi's care. She's great at partnering with my husband and I through open communication, and always keeps me informed. Jodi is incredible, and your family would be lucky to have her. I'm happy to answer any questions as you make your considerations.
