About Jodi

I taught students with dyslexia full-time in a school district in Texas. I worked with students in kindergarten thru 5th grade. My primary focus was on remediation of reading skills to reach grade level fluency. The program I use is called Basic Language Skills and is Ortin-Gillingham based. I also worked with students on math skills as dyslexia can affect several areas of math. My passion is to help students understand how dyslexia affects their abilities and build their confidence. My daughter and several family members have dyslexia.
