About Jodie

I have over 5 years of babysitting experience with children ages 1-12 and also over 300 hours of volunteer experience working with children in various pediatric occupational therapy clinics, as well as the child life unit at UC Irvine Medical Center. I am currently an occupational therapy graduate student at University of Southern California, planning to specialize in pediatric dysphagia. I have an abundance of patience, very responsible and reliable, and extremely caring personality which allows me to connect with children, as well as teens, of all ages and create a bond which further fuels my passion for working with children. I also have extensive experience working with children with special needs, especially children with autism Spectrum Disorder and Down syndrome. I have also had 4 months experience working specifically in the occupational therapy field of feeding therapy and addressing sensory/behavioral issues in regards to mealtimes.
