We hired Jodie as a full-time nanny for our two children- ages 6 and 9. Our son has autism and ADHD, requiring a caregiver with flexibility, patience, compassion, and creativity. Jodie is the embodiment of all these traits. She adopted an interest in our son's interests and hobbies to form a personal connection. Whether it was sitting on the floor next to my son immersed in road maps, reading books to our son about famous historical figures, or creating poems for a scavenger hunt, Jodie engaged with her whole heart. She cares deeply about children and families. You can see how much joy she gets from engaging with children. She has the experience and expertise to foster a warm and enriching experience for families. She also is great with setting boundaries for kids, managing time, decluttering toys and books, and creating art projects. (Our daughter loved creating a Wizard of Oz diorama with Jodie in preparation for Wicked. It's prominently displayed in our playroom.) We highly recommend Jodie as a nanny and babysitter!
