Hello! I'm Jodie, a 50yr old retired teacher with 34+yrs experience with children. My family and I moved to Weehawken this past August and am interested in providing safe, reliable care for families either at my home or yours. I am interested in a part-time schedule (20hrs/week) after the 2021 holidays and am open to a short-term posting until then. My experiences includes: - 13yrs as a live-in/out nanny - 18yrs parenting our sweet daughter - 1 yr as an elementary art teacher - 9yrs as the owner/instructor of Studio where I taught daily classes for ages 18mo - 8yrs - Certified Infant Massage Instructor - Certified Kidding Around Yoga Instructor - 2yrs as after-school-bedtime care provider (after closing my business due to Covid concerns) I look forward to speaking with you!

Ms. Jodie was an amazing caregiver for my son. She always had a fun activity for her and him to do after school. She made sure his homework was done and that he had a healthy snack after school! Her compassionate towards children is amazing. My son loves Ms. Jodie so much and was so excited every time he saw her! Words can not really describe how great of a caregiver Ms. Jodie is. I would recommend her to anyone looking for someone to watch their children.
