About Jodi

Kids seem to really dig hanging out with me and tend to quickly and easily become comfortable in turning to me as a trusted and judgemental adult. (I've always said I strive to have "cool aunt" vibes.) Some kid-related stuff worth noting: During the height of Covid, I spent 3 weeks living with a friend of mine who recently went back to work after maternity leave and needed someone to be there for her two daughters. The older of the 2, then 7, was dealing with going to first grade plus other after school activities virtually, coupled with being SUPER excited to have a baby sister. I spent my days keeping the older sister focused on school, engaged with outdoor activities and other social but distanced interactions, and promptly taking care of all homework tasks. Additionally, I was responsible for breakfasts, lunches, and snacks. Simultaneously, I also was responsible for taking care of EVERYTHING required of a 9ish month old on the verge of teething, talking, and crawling all at once.
