I've worked with children as a nanny/ baby sitter from the ages 3 months- 16 years old. As well as working as a teacher aide for certain schools. I've been a substitute teacher. Things I've done as a nanny: Picked up kids from school. Took them to extra curricular activities. Take them to parks, museum, pool When at home: Assisted children with homework assignments. Prepared healthy, age-appropriate snacks and meals. Monitored schedules to maintain sleeping, eating, and school schedules for children. Assisted with meal preparation, light housekeeping and laundry. Bathed, dressed, and helped with teeth brushing as part of bedtime preparation. Reassured children when upset providing emotional support. Organized and cleaned home after activities by picking up toys and straightening up play room. Monitored children's play activities to verify safety. Played games, worked on puzzles, and read books to young children. Developed games and activities using arts and crafts.
