About Jocelyn

Hello! My name is Jocelyn and I recently moved from Ontario, Canada with my husband and two dogs. My husband was temporary re-located through work which means we'll be living in Ventura until the end of January, 2025. I earned my Master of Social Work degree through Wilfrid Laurier University and graduated in 2019. After graduation, I worked as a Child Protection Worker at a local Children's Aid Society. After this, I worked as a Field Placement Coordinator at the Faculty of Social Work, Wilfrid Laurier University. I am on a temporary leave from this position while I'm living in California and looking to fill my time with something meaningful. I was initially drawn to the area of social work because I love working with people (both seniors and children alike).
