About Jocelyn

I'd describe my personality as responsible, happy/bubbly, and honest :) I like working with kids because helping others is my passion. Knowing I can help out and have a positive impact and influence on others lives makes me happy! Working with kids brings so much joy and motivation to keep learning and being a better person in life! I started working with kids when I was in middle school by babysitting. In high school I had the opportunity to do a teaching program called VTFT (Virginia Teachers for Tomorrow), an internship program to be a student teacher at schools in VB! I worked with a 4th grade inclusion class for my internship and it was such a wonderful opportunity and experience. Teaching, helping them, and also learning from the students is so rewarding! One thing you should know about me is I am a Virginia Tech student studying Health and Exercise Science to become a Physical Therapist in the future! My skills include communication, creativity, and patience/compassion!
