About Jo

I am a 54-year-old college graduate, mother of two, married 31 years, with degrees in criminal justice and psychology. I have worked extensively in social services and law enforcement and have a lifetime of experience with the elderly. Locally I've been working weekend mornings since 2023 with a woman with MS doing transfers bed to wheelchair, bathing, hygiene, meals, med assistance, housekeeping, stretching/exercise as well as my full-time job as senior caregiver to a 91-year-old with Alzheimers. My weekend client recently moved up north to be near her children and the daughter of my full-time, current client plans to retire early to care for her mother personally, so I'm looking for a new position. Jo is a wonderful caregiver - patient and kind to my Mom, who is 91 with Alzheimer's disease and has difficulty walking. Jo was very creative in utilizing various methods to engage my Mom and was very capable. She is also reliable, always on time and very competent at handling all the different aspects of care. She was able to coordinate getting my Mom ready for various health care visits. She also is a great communicator. We highly recommend Jo and would not hesitate to utilize her services again in the future.
