Joann was a true blessing to us when we needed help to care for our 95 year old mother. Our mothers illness came on quickly and Joann started the day after we contacted her through care.com. From the moment she came in she treated our mother like a family member. She was gentle and calm and knew how to help our mother be more comfortable Joann got our mother to take her meds and eat a little. She knew how to gently move her so she wouldn't get bedsores. Joann even got her into a chair once. Joann helped us know what to expect on our moms final journey and made that time less frightening for us. Although Joann was only with us for four days before our mothers passing she had become a valuable part of our mothers life. Joann is a compassionate, kind and capable woman, who we believe was meant to be there to help us through a very sad time in our lives.
