About Joann M

Hello! My name is Joann and I am the proud mother of two children, ages 15 and 14. We live in Downingtown with our fur babies which include 3 cats and dog. I have over 16 years' experience as a paralegal and am a former social worker. Currently, I am a CNA at Camilla Hall Nursing one in Malvern, serving IHM Sisters, and I enjoy it very much. It is so rewarding to give back and I am now looking into pursuing a degree in Nursing. I am caring and compassionate and have a passion to help others. We lost my mother in 2015 after just 5 months as she was diagnosed with Stage IV lung cancer, with no symptoms. It was the longest and shortest 5 months and the most heartbreaking, as well. I became a hospice volunteer after losing her and also started a non-profit organization, in her name, to raise funds and awareness for lung cancer.
