About Joann

My greatest accomplishment is my beautiful baby. She is now 29, hard working, a straight A student, and full time employee. I raised her to believe in herself by instilling in her - her worth. Now that I'm a 58-year-old grandmother my home is quieter, but years ago my home was the place my children's friends came to, in fact, I was the fun mom always willing to have slumber parties, create memories, or offer wise advice. I think the greatest gift any one of us can give a child is their self worth, (self respect and accountability). I am a teacher, when a child knows their value they are able to treat others as they want to be treated, this is who my daughter is today. Although I am firm and consistent, I am also patient, kind tolerant and enjoy spending time in the kitchen making cookies, fishing, gardening, anything that can light up a child's world is a joy to me. Your child will be safe with me this I assure.
