Jo Ann has been a God send. Mum is 86 and has a good bit of dementia. Jo Ann was hired to be her "companion" but rapidly became one of the family. She cooks for Mom. Helps her shower. Helps her dress. Takes her to the "beauty parlor." Takes her to appointments. Gives her her meds. Basically does whatever needs to be done and without being told. She's dependable, trustworthy, an excellent driver (they go all over the place most days like a Thelma and Louise duo) and as caring and compassionate as they come. Anyone would be blessed to have her caring for a loved one. Mum is going to assisted living soon but I'm sure Jo Ann will still be in our lives. She and Mum are just that close now. She was a great find.
