About Joanne

I discovered my love for children at the age of 12 when my little sister was born. Since then, I have worked at a daycare facility, babysat, tutored, and taught swim lessons to a variety of amazing and unique children in my area. I graduated from Ole Miss with a degree in Elementary Education with emphases in Special Education, Math, and Social Studies; but I am willing and capable to help with any subject K-8. I sang in the Ole Miss Women's Ensemble for 3 years and can help read music if needed. I am a very creative, patient, and positive person that is also dedicated and always up for a challenge. I find my happiness in helping kiddos grow into the best version of themselves. My absolute favorite thing is helping children to be successful, whether that be in academics, creativity, self growth, or just daily productivity. Above all else, my priority is making sure the children know that they are SAFE and cared for when they are with me.
