About Joanne

I'm passionate about supporting those in need of care and companionship, and I have a decade of experience providing safe, nurturing care for people of all ages. Patient, warm, friendly, and attentive. I work with families and care givers to ensure that I follow their preferred communication method and specific directions. I'm a mother to an 8 yr old boy, and I am currently going back to school for social work and developmental psychology. I also volunteer as a special education advocate for disadvantaged children living in state custody through the Federation for Children with Special Needs, who partners with the MA Department of Special Education. I also grew up with a sister with severe ASD, and I cared for both of my elderly parents in hospice. I strive to make a positive impact on the lives of children and adult clients by attending to their physical, emotional, and intellectual needs.
