About Joanne

I grew with a father who rescued animals and I have loved animals all my life. Have done pet sitting jobs mostly through friends and the community, as well as some fostering. I would love to do more of this rewarding work. I currently own two rescue cats, 3 rescue birds, and 2 nervous fish. I am presently going back to school for social work and developmental psychology. I also work as a special education advocate in local schools. I am warm, attentive and trust worthy, and I have great references. Please consider me the next time you need someone to care for your fur baby :) Please Note: - I do 20 minute phone or video interviews at no charge. In person interviews or those lasting longer than 20 minutes will be charged at my hourly rate - I have a 2 hour minimum per day per job, and a 4 hr minimum for a weekly commitment - Families wishing to do addl. background checks such as driving record, criminal, or investigative reports
