I have successfully raised three children (all college graduates) and now I am bless to have six grandchildren with two more little ones on the way. I have cared for children for over 40 years including being a part-time preschool aide, 1st grade teacher's aide, teaching 2nd grade religion classes, watching friends of my children as they were growing up, and now providing daycare for two of our grandchildren off and on. I absolutely love children! I have strong feelings about being interactive with children at their age and capability levels. TV is not a babysitter. This includes reading, playing games, especially learning games, making crafts, playing outside when appropriate, listening to classical music while twirling around or free dancing, and having them help with small chores in order to help instill responsibility. I love life and laughing and encourage children to do the same. Silly or serious, I have a calm demeanor and tons of patience. My husband and I are retired. We are loving the flexibility and freedom of this time in our lives.

Joanne is a wonderful grandmother to my 2 young children. She has the biggest heart of anyone I know. I cannot say enough about Joanne and what she has meant to our children who adore her. I am very confident that my kids are safe in her care and I know that she is always providing a fun and nurturing environment for them. Joanne is very reliable, trustworthy, and motivated.
