Being around kids is my greatest joy and honor. I'm now lucky enough to be a parent myself to a 17-month-old. I have decades of experience nannying, babysitting, and working with kids. My most recent job until staying home with our baby was as a Toddler Teacher for a preschool run by the YMCA. Some of my childcare experience includes: -Infant/Toddler teacher for the UVM Medical Center Childcare (through the YMCA) -nannying for a baby who I cared for from 6 months- 2 years -teaching kids yoga classes -assistant teacher at the Early Learning Center in Amherst, MA -countless babysitting jobs -being a mom! I am hoping to find a part time nanny-share situation: I can care for your kid(s) and bring my daughter along with me. This could be at your home or ours, and I'm very flexible about days and times. Discounted childcare for you, our kids would get the chance to hang with other kids, and I'd get the chance to return to the work I love with my toddler sidekick.

Joanna is one of the most empathetic, thoughtful, and respectful caregivers I have ever met. I worked with Joanna in a child care setting, and I have so much admiration for the consideration she offers each and every child. Joanna so easily fosters the natural joy children find in everyday situations, and allows them to lead the way when it comes to learning and exploring. She is able to find solutions to even the most challenging situations, and makes sure that children know they are valued and that their feelings are just as valid as those of any adult. If you are looking for someone to provide loving, attentive care for your child, I can't recommend Joanna highly enough.
