I am an active retired woman in excellent health. My home town is Newport. I have 4 grown children and three grandchildren and have many years of experience caring for children of all ages. I have always loved babies and children and enjoy the energy and joy they bring to our lives. I enjoy introducing children to the outdoors, the beach, playing games, and nature walks. I have also home schooled children, taught arts and crafts, and I love to bake with them. I have prepared meals for the family as needed. I am an excellent cook. I was a full time nanny for a family with 3 boys for two years. I started the job when the youngest was 1-month-old. I can provide excellent references from any of the families I provided care to. Joanna was truly truly wonderful! My 4 year and 1 year old had the best time with her. She scheduled proactively a call ahead of time to learn more about them and answer any of my questions. She made me feel super safe and I completely trusted her. She got the kids to bed on time and gave them dinner. Joanna was so thoughtful and the place was very clean when we left. Could not recommend Joanna more - any family would be lucky to work with her! :)
