About Joanna

Hi there! I'm Joanna, and I recently graduated with my master's degree in occupational therapy. I'm looking for a position until March/ April until I take my boards to become a registered occupational therapist. I have a lot of experience working with kids, from being an assistant dance teacher to working in a daycare with children ages 6 months to 5 years old. I've also been a one-on-one camp counselor for children with special needs, which has taught me a lot about early childhood development and meeting the unique needs of each child. I would describe myself as patient, thoughtful, empathetic, and friendly. I really enjoy working with kids because of the joy and energy they bring to any situation. It makes the work so rewarding! I love being creative, and kids' imaginations make it easy to come up with fun, playful activities. Caring for others is a real passion of mine, and I love sharing knowledge and helping children develop life skills that will serve them well.
