About Joanna

I started working with kids when I was a kid actually, volunteering in a Vacation Bible School my church was hosting. I was about 14 years old when I started working with kids and doing that gave me even more insight and I knew I wanted to do it for the rest of my life. I wasn't able to find many jobs in between then and now because of the lack of experience I had as a grown adult working with children but then I came to Wee Folk this summer and I loved it! In my spare time, I like to listen to music, be outside, and hang out with my friends and family and cat. Something to know about me is that I am a determined to make your child feel safe and have fun in my care. I want them to be able to enjoy themselves without having to worry, leave the worrying to me haha. I just want families to know I'm a helping hand and I just want to be there for children where/when they need me. My skills include changing diapers, making lunch/snacks, engaging with them and their playful minds!
