About Joanna

My passion for working with children stems from my childhood. I grew up in a happy home. In a Christian household, a huge part of fellowship was gathering with friends and other children my age to learn about Jesus. Another huge memory of mine as a child was attending extracurricular activities and bonding with friends over the hobbies I had. Growing up in a musician's family was very exciting, and the love and passion my parents expressed in using their gifts and talents to honor the Lord inspired me to work with children. In three words I am kind, patient, and considerate. My personality is easy to get along with, and the children I have worked with in the past show immediate comfort around me. I've worked with kids since I was in high school, and began formal work in summer camp jobs and dance classes in college. As a caretaker, I would want families to know that I am someone with integrity, strong morals, and a passion to work with children in a manner that uplifts their spirits.
