About Joanna

Hi there, I'm Joanna. I currently work as a Youth and Family Programs Coordinator at a science center and am seeking an evening part-time caregiver position. I have a strong background in family programs and childcare, but I'm especially drawn to the meaningfulness and rewarding nature of senior care. When my grandmother was in memory care out-of-state, I found myself thinking about her often, wondering if she had someone to hold her hand and hoping that there was someone there to look out for her and advocate for her best interests. This experience has inspired me to apply my strengths to senior care. I am extremely organized and reliable. You can count on me to show up when I say I will and communicate when there's a problem. I'm very detail oriented and will quickly pick up any necessary routines, medication schedules, etc. I'm also honest and invested in your family's needs--I'm happy to help with housework and hygiene and you won't find me buried in my phone.
