I can assist with overseeing care plans, scheduling, as well as supporting supplies, that may be needed/helpful. Have worked as far as Marlborough, MA to Newport, RI. I travel 50+ miles depending on assignment & prefer to provide live-in care, with Hospice Care, I have extensive experience with Dementia, Alzheimer's. Parkinson's, Quadriplegic, Stroke, Lung & other forms of Cancer & MS. I assist with bathing, dressing, meal prep & feeding, medication reminders, housekeeping duties & companionship. Assist with Dr. appts. & errands. I'm experienced with both, electric & manual Hoyer lifts. Supra pubic & Foley bags. Burn care, wound care, range of motion exercises, assist with PT & OT I enjoy my work immensely! My hope is to bring a ray of sunshine, in the lives of my clients & a sense of humor when appropriate! Joanna, promptly agreed to a personal interview, arrived on time and professionally dressed. She explained her past exerience and comfort level her experience with elderly, forgetful seniors. I explained the care I would be needing for my 93 year old aunt and we agreed on the day and time to pick her up at nursing home, bring her to my home and come back for her to return to nursing home. Once again, Joanna was on time and my aunt arrived at my home happily and Joanna was on time to pick her up to return to nursing home. My aunt is NOT the easiest person to interact with and I was so pleased and amazed on how easily Joanna managed to keep her happy, calm and enjoying the adventure. I would definately use Joanna in the future and recommend her as a caring, patient, kind and fun to be with care giver.
