Hello! My name is Joanmarie but you can call me Jo! I have 2 years experience working as a Registered Behavior Technician, ABA Therapy, but my experience working with kids with special needs goes back to when I was in elementary school. My brother was diagnosed with ASD at a young age and that started my interest in working with kids with special needs. I nannied a family of 5, one diagnosed with ASD as well. After that, I continued my education in undergrad while working as a direct care staff member with adults with special needs. I received my first job as a Registered Behavior Technician in ABA Therapy and moved to STL to further my education, grow my knowledge, and utilize my strengths while using the Early Start Denver Model (ESDM) working with children 1-5.
