I have 500+ volunteer experience caring for seniors with sever psychiatric disabilities who attended a day program in East Palo Alto, Redwood City and San Carlos at the Friendship Center Program which is part of the Mental Health Association in San Mateo County. I also have experience caring for seniors with dementia and Alzheimer's disease at another day program in Menlo Park called Rosener House. I have personal experience caring for my father for three years during a health crisis and my grandmother before she passed away. I have a BA in psychology from John F. Kennedy University and a MA in psychology from University of San Francisco. I am currently pursuing a degree in counseling psychology to become a licensed marriage and family therapist and would like a part time care giving position while pursuing my education.
