Greetings Families, my name is Joan! I have childcare experience since my youth, took some early childhood education courses during undergraduate years but then switched majors to what I believed would prep me to serve families at a wider scale. After some years in the field of social services, I 'fell back' in childcare, where I have worked for several years now with children, ranging from newborns to older youth, including many w/ special needs. These range from developmental/ cognitive delays, speech, spina bifida, cerebral palsy, ADHD, some from Autism Spectrum. I also do light cleaning, child's laundry, meal preparation, as well as engage your child in school (homework), play, educational activities, incorporating the outdoor community walks, if allowed! I have yet to reschedule my CPR/ 1st Aid Re-Certification, as it cancelled right before the pandemic shut-down, which I may be doing on-line soon!
