I'd describe my personality as friendly, compassionate, optimistic. I like caring for people with special needs because of my professional experience coordinating care for the IDD population along with years of respite/self-direction, working in a medically enhanced group home, & having private home care experience. I find joy in helping individuals to be as independent as they can, while working with them to explore options for growth in the community & boost/maintain their happiness & confidence. I started caring for people with special needs at People Inc's most medically enhanced group homes back in 2024; this is what drove me to the healthcare field & wanting to make a difference for people & relieve families from feeling alone etc in their situation. One thing you should know about me is I'm very hardworking & enjoy building relationships with the people I support. I value looking at the whole person rather than just seeing a person as someone who has a disability etc.
