About Joan

Hello. My name is Joan and I am a 57-year-old woman. I have been disabled for 12 years because of an accident in which I broke my neck. It has taken a move to another state and 12 years of hard work to get to a place where I am capable of working part time. I am interested in working with the elderly because of my experience with disability and the loneliness, pain and suffering involved. I have had training working with elderly patients as well as patients who need some help with personal hygiene, physical limitations needing care with the gait belt. I love to cook, so I would love to meet a friend who would love to do that with me. I also love working of crafts! I am able to help with some light housekeeping, and helping the patient prepare for medication needs, set up Doctors appointments and help them keep them. I am fun loving and Spiritual, and I am a great listener. Give me a call!
