About Joana

I have dabbled in babysitting/child care before for my sister's friends when I was a teenager, so I am familiar with the concept of what is expected. I have a 5-year-old niece who I care for for approximately 2 to 3 times a week for 4 to 6 hours. She is very energetic and talkative and so I am familiar with that type of child. I like to utilize what creative skills I have to engage them, like origami and drawing. I feed her and bathe her, and play with her. I understand children can often times throw tantrums and misbehave, I like to try and talk to them in words they can understand and taking away privileges as a way of punishment. I enjoy the company of children very much, I believe they keep you young at heart.
