I received a Master's degree from Lesley University in 1994 and prior to that I worked as a special education teacher at a school in Waltham for four years and and then in Reading public schools for one year. During that time, I worked with a broad spectrum of disabilities including severe autism, cerebral palsy, ADD, down syndrome, as well as emotional and behavior disorders. Since then, I have raised three children in our home. Most recently I have been working with a woman who has cognitive deficiencies. I asssited with keeping her on task and focused. I food shop with her, with meal preparation, cleaning, organizing and laundry.
