I was a high school counselor and stopped working when my twins were born. I started nannying to allow me to be home with my own kids or bring them along. I have been nannying for 18 years and am now an empty nester as my twins are away at college. I am in the process of setting up a private practice as an LMHC and looking to make some extra money while in that process. I cannot commit to any long term jobs. I can be flexible with my hours. I was a Girl Scout leader for the past 8 years (the 8 member troop just graduated) and am fully vetted through them. I also volunteer at the local Food Pantry and Ronald McDonald House. I am an avid reader (100+ books a year), practice yoga 2 - 4 times a week for the past 20 years, love to hike local trails especially The Rockefeller preserve and am continuously enrolled in some drawing/painting class. I also swim regularly and have been learning to play pickleball.

Jill came to help our family of three and growing to four kids, all born in four years. She was wonderful with the kids and took initiative to do so many things around the house that were exactly what a mom needs help with. She was willing to jump in and help where needed - kids, house, organizing, tidying, cooking and I could confidently trust her with anything. Examples, of activities she naturally did with the kids without being asked included helping them make their beds, reading, doing educational workbooks, playing in the yard, baking, and playing random fun little games kids love like building a fort then doing a puzzle in the fort. The kids love her and I am very appreciative of having someone who really helps make life/work easier. It is rare to find someone who is great with kids, adults, organized, intuitive and takes initiative. I would highly recommend.
