About Jillian

When I was a camp counselor at my hometowns Rec center, I knew childcare was the road for me. In school I found myself soaring in Psychology, specifically ABA & RBT (not certified yet!). Caring for children and animals is what makes my life happy - knowing that I contributed to a child's development, using the studies that I learned, that's what my life is about. I am an extremely approachable person, easy to make people comfortable and relaxed. I am very nurturing. I have worked with developmentally advanced as well as developmentally delayed (autistic + special needs), newborns, toddlers, kids and teens. I know some Spanish, I am currently in my 3rd year at Florida State College of Jacksonville (Psychology major, Early Childhood Development minor). My goals are to get my Associates this December 2019 and proceed to UNF, to become a Child Developmental Psychologist or start my own practice.
