About Jillian

Hello! My name is Jillian and I am currently in college studying to be a nurse! I have had experience working with special needs kids, and children from the ages 5+. In high school, I was a part of a program called PALS, where I had the opportunity to mentor kids throughout the year! Within this program, I would go to elementary schools five times a week and mentored the same 5 kids that ranged from Kinder to Fifth. I as well was able to be a part of the special olympics and be paired with a buddy that I would follow around and help! I love kids and find it important that they find what they love! I competed competitively in basketball for 13 years and love to exercise and do engaging activities! I am all for doing what the children want that is appropriate under the parents/families expectations. I do have a job that I typically work 2-3 times a week at but am willing to rearrange my schedule for the needs of the parents!
