About Jillian

I am a college student from New York who is currently living in Wilmington, NC to attend college at the University of North Carolina Wilmington. I have experience working as a teacher's assistant at a preschool/day care center in my hometown from January 2017 to July 2018. I have worked with the infant class (up to age 1 1/2), toddler class (ages 1 1/2-3) as well as the 3-year-old, 4-year-old, and kindergarten classes. In addition, I also helped to run the afterschool care program for children of elementary and middle school ages. My duties included supervising and playing with the children, assisting them with work and daily needs, and maintaining a cleanly, nurturing and safe learning environment. My other experiences with children include working an ice skating instructor for a learn to skate program. I ran 3-4 classes a week for children ages 3-6 from the time of March 2017 to April 2018. I also have experience babysitting for many different families over the past 4 years.
