About Jill

Newly relocated to suburban Baltimore, I'm a mature, reliable, fit, fun and compassionate adult who has recently retired after a 34 year long career in Boston with the Massachusetts Department of Public Health. Babysitting was my first job, at the ages of 13 - 16 years. Followed by a summer at a YMCA day camp as the Assistant Arts & Crafts Director, as well as work in an early childcare education center while attending UMass Amherst. I have enjoyed my work with young people as well as my life as an Aunt to my nieces and nephews. I have seen that children thrive in a environment that supports their imagination, creativity, passions and pursuits while providing them with safety, structure and limits. If there's homework to complete, books to read, or projects to finish, I'm there to guide young people to success. I am able to run errands, prepare meals and transport children to and from classes/events to support the whole family. Communication is key -- give me a call!
