In this year I take care of two kids, 10-year-old girl and 7-year-old boy, including drop off and pick up from school, bring them to other classes like soccer, piano, math. Pushing them to finish school homework, doing bath, having Chinese class etc. Also I prepare their breakfast, lunch and snacks, once a week dinner for the family, once a week laundry for kids. They are super sweet kids! In the meantime I also take care of a little one, a 1-year-old boy. But just part time, I will help with diaper change, feed lunch, and play with him. Rachel was our part time nanny for our infant who is currently, 15 months. He was 6 months when she started. The connection/trust was immediate to my surprise as a first time parent. She was gentle, kind, funny and most importantly patient. Rachel, accommodated an abnormal working schedule of 1030am-130pm (Mon-Fri) or 9am-12pm. She was always on time and willing to stay late. As a parent, we can do our due diligence in hiring someone to care for our children and the rest is honestly, chemistry. Rachel and I build a friendship while during her employment. Many tears were shed leading up to her last day. She will forever be a part of our family.
