About Jhanely

My name is Jhanely. Currently I have taken a break from full time teaching since 2020 and am working in an office that I love. Yet, I still anticipate opportunities as an educator through evening tutoring sessions. Part of my experience is that I worked for HISD as a bilingual teacher for over 5 years. I taught young children between ages 5 to 7 in a full classroom setting, and have taught both in Spanish and English, along with integrated subjects such as reading, writing and math. Most of my experience is from the Dual Language program used in schools where children are learning two languages at a time. I helped children become fluent in either language with core subjects through individual instruction. Parents have expressed their satisfaction with me on how much patience and respect I have for each child. I am a firm believer of each child being a different learner, and as an educator I passion to to find the best approach for students to learn and grow.
