About Jewel

Hi there! Im so excited to introduce myself! My name is Jewel , I have professionally worked with children for over 10 years now, but am the oldest sister of a big family so have really been working with littles my entire life. Between kids ministry, babysitting, nannying, being a camp counselor, working in daycare, preschool teacher, and in my most recent years elementary school, whew! I definitely am experienced and LOVE caring and investing in children. Currently I am a single mom of a 3-year-old boy and teach 1st grade at a private Christian school. I have been through some difficult and scary situations in my years of work, which has made me extremely confident in just about every scenario from infants to adolescence. I am CPR and active shooter certified as well! I am outgoing, loving, with a true love of teaching and creative play. I am absolutely a very hands on parent, teacher, and caregiver.
