Jess seems like a lovely person and over qualified to watch our 8-month old kiddo, so I’m disappointed to leave this review. When I first tried to arrange a meet & greet with Jess and my son, she had to reschedule twice. When we thought she’d be a good fit for a nanny arrangement, we agreed on a start day. The day before, however, she asked if she could start a different day instead—I communicated that we had no backup person and were relying on her since she already committed, so she still came as originally planned. She came by for two days and during that time she was great with our son —she kept him laughing, ensured he was getting tummy time, took him outside, was good with naps, gave him solids and milk, and even helped with his laundry. Unfortunately, after 2 days, she was exposed to Covid and expressed need to stay home. I know this was out of her control. However, the next week came around and I was trying to understand if she caught it herself, or if she didn’t think she’d be able to come by on her scheduled Wed/Thurs days for any reason so we could plan accordingly. I texted Sunday night, I texted Monday, I called her Tuesday—no response—I was half expecting her to still show up this morning, but it seems she ghosted us.
