About Jesslyn

I laid the o five years as an Intervention Specialist at an Inner City Charter School in Inglewood, CA. There, I provided counseling support, managed IEP/504 plans, and addressed behavioral issues, collaborating with administrators, counselors, psychiatrists, and parents. I earned a Bachelor of Science in Rehabilitation Services from CSULA in 2017, focusing on Behavioral Studies and counseling, and became a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Currently, I'm pursuing a Master of Social Work through Howard University's macro program, specializing in Community, Administration, and Policy, while serving as a Career and Education Pathway Specialist. I enjoy working with children for their creativity and energy, which refreshes my outlook on life. In my spare time, I hike, work out daily, and explore art and learning. I'm adaptable, dynamic, and driven by my passion for supporting others. My skills include effective communication, patience, and creative problem-solving.
