About Jesslyn

Hello! I have over 10+ years of experience caring for and working with children in various settings. I began babysitting when I was 13 years old. I graduated from IUPUI with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education. While in college, I worked for the Parks Department in their youth services division. We ran a before and after-school program. When school was out, camps (day camps, summer camps, and school break camps) were running. I also substituted and was a temporary teacher and aide during the school year. After I graduated college, I went to work for the Department of Child Services (DCS). I was a Family Case Manager and later transferred to the Hotline. I served as the front-line contact by receiving and assessing allegations of child abuse and neglect. Working for DCS took a toll on me, so I returned to my previous job with the Parks Department as a manager. *Hourly rate is negotiable pending various factors.
