About Jessica

I want to be a hospice chaplain one day, once I finish my masters program. I have experience taking care of a friend of mine who was at the time mostly bedridden with minimal mobility and in her eighties. I sat and talked with her, prayed with her (we are both Catholic), gave her her medication that her husband left out for me to give her, and made sure she was safe, that is made sure she did not fall or get hurt. I also went and got her food, sweet tea, and water. I have experience pushing wheelchairs, guiding the blind, speaking closer or louder for those with hearing aides, and helping those with limited mobility walk. I also have experience with people who have Type 1 Diabetes. I did gain some experience with people who have mycotoxin illness. I have experience with those who have asthma. I have experience with those who have Parkinson's Disease and provided care for them. I have experience with feeding. I have some repositioning experience as well.
