I love children and have many years of experience providing care to ages ranging from infants to teenagers. My prior work experience includes childcare, serving as a playgroup instructor, in-house babysitting, working as preschool assistant and being a substitute teacher. I also held employment working as a classified substitute for the Evergreen school district. Being a classified substitute gave me the rewarding task of filling in for teacher's assistants in special needs classrooms. Seeing children with autism, down syndrome and other disabilities see their potential never failed to bring a smile to my face. Volunteering with children is a strong passion of mine. I remained active in children's ministry over the years serving as a Sunday school teacher, AWANA leader, Vacation Bible School worker and other roles. I believe that bonding moments are crucial while caring for children. I've been known for leading arts and crafts projects, playing pretend and engaging in outdoor play.
