I am a licensed educator currently teaching third grade. I hold an Elementary Educator license with the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education. I have a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and Psychology as well as a Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction with a concentration in Trauma and Resilience. I have experience working with infants through adults and specialize in working with those with emotional/behavioral/developmental challenges. I have previous work experience as a residential counselor at a pediatric psychiatric facility and personal and professional experience working with children with autism and seizure disorders. Being a mother myself, I know how important it is for your child to feel comfortable, safe and happy. My availability is afternoons/evenings Monday-Friday and weekends as needed during the school year and open availability throughout the summer months and school vacation weeks.

Jess is an amazing human being. She has a kind heart and is experienced in working with children of all abilities. She meets students where they are at (academically) and then pushes them to be more successful in their areas of weakness. Jess approaches others with an open-mind and finds ways to keep children engaged and motivated while learning. I would highly recommend Jess to work with any child-she is an incredible person!
